Dawn Sachs - Events Director

In her 15 years as Director of Events at the Avalon Golf Club, Dawn has coordinated thousands of weddings and events. Born and raised here at the Jersey Shore, Dawn has an extensive knowledge of every aspect of the wedding and hospitality industries. From the planning process through the last song of the night, Dawn strives to make your day the beautiful, unique, and fun day it should be! In this busy world, accessibility is key, and Dawn strives to return calls and emails as quickly as possible.

Dawn's favorite part about wedding days is seeing her couples' visions come to life. She loves transforming the golf club into a place that tells the story of an individual couple. Seeing couples laugh and celebrate with family and friends is truly such a rewarding experience, and something that never loses its magic for her. Dawn is also a self proclaimed "sucker" for the first dance, where she is known to be searching for a tissue.

Steve Rossi - Banquet Chef

Steve serves as our head Banquet Chef with over 10 years of experience working at Avalon Links. He has a passion for elevating events through exquisite cuisine, Steve brings precision and creativity to his dishes that leave a lasting imprint on our guests.

His favorite part about a wedding day is watching his team work hard to make a couple’s special day the best day possible.

Marcus Lomonaco - Dining Room/Operations Manager

Marcus works as our Dining Room/Operations Manager and ensures the setup and execution of your celebration runs smoothly. Marcus grew up working in hospitality, so taking this position with Avalon Links in 2021 was a natural transition for him.

His favorite part about wedding days is working with the incredible events team at the Links to make certain that the Guest of Honor, as well as their guests, have the best day possible by celebrating with their friends and family.
